A social strain for sparking connections. THCa is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in the cannabis plant. It’s the precursor to Delta-9 THC, which is the cannabinoid responsible for the “high” associated with marijuana. THCa does not produce psychoactive effects until it’s heated or smoked. Once it’s heated, it converts to regular Delta-9 THC and becomes intoxicating. But unlike all marijuana, THCa is 100% federally lawful.
The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 — commonly known as the Farm Bill — authorized hemp production and removed hemp and hemp seeds from the DEA list of Controlled Substances.
