Chef Flo’s THCA-Infused Chocolate Chip Cookies

Let's whip up some delicious cookies with a fun twist—infused with THCA flower! Here’s a recipe that combines classic cookie goodness with a bit of herbal flair.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1-2 grams of THCA flower (decarboxylated into THC by gently heating if desired or leave raw for THCA)
  • Parchment paper

Instructions:

  1. Prep the THCA flower:
    • Grind the THCA flower finely. For THCA cookies, use as is. If you want to convert it to THC, decarboxylate by baking at 220°F (105°C) for 30-40 minutes. See here for full instructions.
  2. Infuse the butter:
    • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add the ground THCA flower. Simmer gently for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be sure not to overheat. Once done, strain the butter through cheesecloth to remove plant material. Allow the infused butter to cool.
  3. Prepare the cookie dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the infused butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, beating until just combined.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Bake the cookies:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
    • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
  5. Cool and enjoy:
    • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve your THCA-infused cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite beverage. Enjoy responsibly!
